As a resource to the Firm’s attorneys and clients, Wendy is in a position to provide a global and international perspective to what has become critical issues for many of the Firm’s clients, given expanding data privacy laws and governmental regulations, all of which are reshaping the national and global legal and business landscape. Wendy’s practice focuses on legal and business services, including data privacy and corporate contractual matters, and assisting businesses in conforming to global compliance requirements, and assisting in the development of supporting marketing and commercial protocols, strategies and guidance, as well as representing U.S. and Canadian native tribes, analyzing global project options for various clients and advising AI software companies.
Wendy also advises companies on GDPR, CCPA and emerging privacy frameworks, and her practice also includes drafting and negotiation commercial agreements to operationalizing privacy programs and collaborating with marketing teams, in order to keep organizational compliant, credible and competitive.
Although based in Cape Town, South Africa, Wendy is licensed to practice law in California, and graduated from Elon University in North Carolina, and earned her law degree from California Western school of Law, in San Diego, California.
